AOIS
Developed to help CMU-authorized schools succeed, AOIS is now being used across the country to aid in the oversight and support of all public schools.
The Governor John Engler Center for Charter Schools (the Center) launched its nationally recognized document management and compliance tracking software, AOIS, in 2001. This system was designed by the Center to track and maintain information regarding the compliance of charter public schools. AOIS also empowers schools with a digital document management system for their documents.
AOIS allows schools to spend more time with the kids and less on the bureaucracy of education.
AOIS offers:
- Better way to organize files - AOIS provides a logical way to organize a school’s compliance documents thereby saving schools time in filing, managing and retrieving compliance-related documents.
- Automatic daily check – Each day, AOIS checks the document submission status of each school to confirm that all required documents have been received in accordance with the Master Calendar of Reporting Requirements. In doing so, AOIS provides school leadership with an up-to-date status of report and documents submission required by law and charter contract.
- E-mail documents with a single click - AOIS provides the ability to e-mail digital documents to any other party with a single click.
- Security of records - AOIS provides a very high level of offsite security of digital records. Instant document retrieval - AOIS can retrieve any document, from any folder, and from any year in the system - in seconds.
Though AOIS was designed specifically for the Center, it is a powerful system that can make the work of any authorizer and school administrator much easier to manage.
